Well, my bloggy pals -- I don't know if you've noticed the lack of projects and home improvements, but if you have, it's because I've been away...recharging. Although I missed all of you and blogging, it was a much needed mini vacation to re-energize myself. I hope you enjoyed Brittany, our Handy Girl on Monday -- she was so kind and filled in for me while I was away. :) Thanks so much, Brittany!!!
This last week we took our annual extended family vacation to Madden's Resort on Gull Lake, and can I just tell you how refreshing it was! There was nothing we HAD to do for three whole days. We basked in the beautiful Minnesota Summer weather and enjoyed lots of time with family. So I wanted to share a few pictures of the gorgeous sunset that my talented hubby took:
Couldn't you just live here? Me too. And now that we've had some time away from real life, I'm energized and ready to go on lots more projects. I'm so excited for Monday -- becuase I'm going to show you a great room redo -- I think it may be my favorite so far!
And I'd like to say "THANK YOU!" to everyone who entered my clock giveaway! Your comments were so kind and sweet. They really made me smile. And I'm very sorry that I wasn't able to respond to everyone who commented. I normally visit or reply to everyone, but due to the amount of comments and the fact that we were gone I wasn't able to do so. :( Such is life.
With all that said, I'm very excited to announce the winner of the double clock:
