Master Bathroom Finale

Alright, so the whole week has pretty much been our Master Bathroom -- and today is the final product -- the big reveal! (well not all that big - just a little bit of a change or us -- but well worth it!)

Let's check out a few before pictures first:

Our oak-iest of oak  vanity cabinet.  Not that I have too much against oak, I'm just not opposed to a change in scenery either!

Next up is the sink area -- could use a little more space here.

And finally (you've already seen the outcome of this one) the opposing wall of our bathroom.

Ready for the afters? (My favorite part!)

The cabinet got a major change (especially the inside! Check out our DIY roll out shelves here).  I painted it high gloss black and got some new hardware for the outside -- brushed nickel to match the rest of the fixtures:

We also put up an ultra sleek looking glass shelf above our faucet:

(this was my splurge for this project)

Sidenote:  I can't get enough of Bath & Bodywork's soap, but I won't buy it unless I have a coupon....so here's a coupon.

And finally, in case you missed the DIY faux wainscoating from yesterday, here it is again:

One more view (including the wonderful makeup mirror my hubby got me for Christmas (installation included!!):

The total cost of our project was:

Roll Out Shelves:  $38.95
Faux Wainscoating: $6.98
Cabinet Paint:  $6.98
Cabinet Hardware: $3.38
Glass Shelf:   $23.98

TOTAL:  $80.27

It was a busy weekend -- but it feels good to get a complete project done.  On to the next Hand-Me-Down-House to-do!

Do you mind if I ask what brand and color you painted your bathroom?

You're cabinet looks a million time better. Love it.
If you want to save even more on the B&B works foaming soap refill your bottles yourself. Simply buy a shower gel in the scent you want and add a tablespoon to your empty container then fill the rest of the way with water. Give it a good shake and you're good to go.
